Ingredients
- 1 9-inch pie crust prebaked
- 1/4 of a large onion
- 150 g mushroom diced
- 150 g ham chopped
- 5 eggs
- 120 g heavy cream
- 120 g Cheddar/Gruyère cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt & pepper

Dry Ingredients
- In a small pan over medium heat, add the onion. Cook until translucent.
- Add the diced mushroom. Cook for 1-2 minute.
- Add ham. Cook for another minute.
- Season with salt & pepper.
- Transfer to a separate bowl, leave out any liquid. *Prevent soggy pie crust.
Wet Ingredients
- In a glass bowl, quickly whisk the eggs.
- Pour in heavy creamy, whisk until combined. Season with salt & pepper.
Combine all Ingredients
- Prepare a prebaked pie crust.
- Pour all egg mixture in the pie crust.
- Add all the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
- Spread the ingredients gently with a spatula.
- Add grated cheese on top. *I am using Irish Cheddar in this recipe. You can substitute with Gruyère cheese.
- Bake at 200C/400F for 20-25 minutes.
- Bring out the quiche. Let it cool before slicing it.
